6b2493a4d8 Remove GLSLANG_ANGLE
ANGLE no longer links with glslang. This change reverts
1ef2e250fc36d862573cc5e92f04b1d0e2d89867 which added a flag to strip
glslang to reduce its binary size. This flag is no longer needed.

Merge pull request #2985 from jeremy-lunarg/hayes-nonsemantic-shader-debuginfo-rebase
Implement NonSemantic.Shader.DebugInfo.100 debug instruction generation.

These instructions will be generated under the -gV and -gVS command line options. These instructions enable source-level shader debugging with Renderdoc.

This is an alpha release of this capability. Additional improvements are forthcoming. Use and feedback are welcome.

ca0d54d51b Enhance readability of error messages for GLSL
Specifically, make GLSL link error messages more specific and output
only information relevant to the error.

Also change type printing to more closely reflect GLSL syntax. This
is the default for link error messages, but must me enabled with the
new option --enhanced-msgs for compilation error messages.

Also with --enhanced-msgs, only emit one error message per source
line.

This change list allows a user to override the GLSL version from the
command line or through the C and C++ interfaces. This will override the
override happens in ProcessDeferred() before DeduceVersionProfile() so
the process should still error out if the version is insufficient for
the shader code.

- Added --glsl-version <version> to CLI.
- Added parameter to route glslVersion as override version to
  preprocessor and parse functions to C++ interface.
- Updated C interface with function to override GLSL version.

4302d51868 Don't release global mutex before initialize/finalize is done
Otherwise this can race with other threads for access to the fields it's
supposed to be initializing/finalizing.

For example, imagine another thread is calling ShInitialize() while the
first thread is calling ShFinalize() - the finalize function would
destroy the state at the same time as the initialize function is trying
to initialize it.

Holding on to the global lock for the entire function prevents all of
these failure modes.

Fix uninitialized use of TIntermediate::resource (#2424)
TIntermediate was constructed without initializing any of the `resources` fields,
and `TProgram::linkStage()` was not calling `TIntermediate::setLimits()`
after constructing new `TIntermediate`s for non-first stages.

Fields of `resources` were then read in `TIntermediate::finalCheck()`
triggering undefined behavior.

This CL makes three changes:
(1) `TIntermediate::setLimits()` is now called for non-first stages by
    copying the `firstIntermediate`'s limits. This ensures that the
    `resources` fields is initialized, fixing the bug.
(2) `TIntermediate::resources` is now wrapped in a `MustBeAssigned<>`
    helper struct, asserting in non-release builds that this field is
    always initialized before reading.
(3) `TIntermediate::resources` is now zero-initialized, so that if
    the `TIntermediate::resources` field is not set in a release build
    (and so the `assert()` will be disabled) behavior is still
    deterministic.

Use GLSLANG_ANGLE to strip features to what ANGLE requires
This change strips a few features similar to GLSLANG_WEB but doesn't
remove every detail like the latter. It also hardcodes profile/version
to core/450.

In particular, TBuiltIns::initialize is specialized to remove most of
what is not supported or won't be supported by ANGLE. The result of
this function is parsed with TParseContext::parseShaderStrings which is
a performance bottleneck.

This change shaves about 300KB off of ANGLE's binary size and reduces
the cost of SetupBuiltinSymbolTable to nearly a sixth.

fbe9a23baf Generate build information from CHANGES.md
This PR significantly reworks the way glslang is versioned.

Instead of committing changes to the `GLSLANG_MINOR_VERSION` define in
`glslang/Public/ShaderLang.h`, and using `make-revision` to generate
`GLSLANG_PATCH_LEVEL` in `glslang/Include/revision.h`, all version
information is now derived from the new `CHANGES.md` file.

`CHANGES.md` acts as the single source of truth for glslang version
information, along with a convenient place to put all release notes for
each notable change made.

`CHANGES.md` is parsed using the new `build_info.py` python script.
This script can read basic template files to produce new source files,
which it does to read the new `build_info.h.tmpl` to generate (at build
time) a glslang private header at
`<build-dir>/include/glslang/build_info.h`.
I've written generators for each of the CMake, Bazel, gn, and
`Android.mk` build scripts.

The new version code conforms to the Semantic Versioning 2.0 spec.

This new version is also used by the CMake rules to produce versioned
shared objects, including a major-versioned SONAME.

New APIs:
---------

* `glslang::GetVersion()` returns a `Version` struct with the version
  major, minor, patch and flavor.

Breaking API changes:
---------------------

* The public defines `GLSLANG_MINOR_VERSION` and `GLSLANG_PATCH_LEVEL`
  have been entirely removed.
* `glslang/Public/ShaderLang.h` and `glslang/Include/revision.h` have
  been deleted.
* Instead, `<build-dir>/include/glslang/build_info.h` is created in
  the build directory, and `<build-dir>/include` is a CMake `PUBLIC`
  (dependee-inherited) include directory for the glslang targets.
* `<build-dir>/include/glslang/build_info.h` contains the following
   new #defines:
   `GLSLANG_VERSION_MAJOR`, `GLSLANG_VERSION_MINOR`,
   `GLSLANG_VERSION_PATCH`, `GLSLANG_VERSION_FLAVOR`,
   `GLSLANG_VERSION_GREATER_THAN(major, minor, patch)`,
   `GLSLANG_VERSION_GREATER_OR_EQUAL_TO(major, minor, patch)`,
   `GLSLANG_VERSION_LESS_THAN(major, minor, patch)`,
   `GLSLANG_VERSION_LESS_OR_EQUAL_TO(major, minor, patch)`
* The CMake install output directory contains a copy of
   `build_info.h` at: `include/glslang/build_info.h`
* Python3 is now always required to build glslang (likely always
   required for transitive dependency builds).

f4b2ba2c27 Reflection will crash when the VS input symbol defines the same name with FS output symbol
[PURPOSE]:
The current process design for Uniform / Block / Pipe IO symbols reflection (during program linking) is as following :

1.1 using a global mapper called 'TNameToIndex' to store all the relationship of name (of symbols) to their indexes (in their own MapIndexToReflection vectors).

1.2 TNameToIndex mapper will be used during program linking and helps to check and merge duplicate symbols within each stage ( Uniform, Block and Pipe IO)

1.3 Different types of symbols will have their own index mapping storage. All those symbols will share TNameToIndex as a general searching mapper.

1.4 Only IN in first stage and OUT in last stage will be dealed within traversing functions.

Now, here we meet those problems:

2.1 In and Out variables for pipelines are mapping to different MapIndexToReflection vector (ioItems), but they may still have same names within the general symbol search mapper : TNameToIndex.

2.2 Then, when there are same symbols of IN in VS and OUT in FS, TNameToIndex could not tell the difference because it only stores one local index for one symbol (1:1) as a pair of KeyValue.

[What fixed]:

Seperate I/O from other symbols like Uniform and Block (it is wrong to keep them all in TNameToIndex), and save in new searching mappers called pipeInNameToIndex and pipeOutNameToIndex.

Expose new top-level functions defined as getReflectionPipeIOIndex and getPipeIOIndex for users who need to query Pipe I/O information (As they may reach those things through getUniformIndex and getReflectionIndex now, which is a confused way.)

As there are 2 mappers for above symbols, users needs to input second argument when they wanna reach those pipe I/O parameters, that's also why we need to modify GET functions either.

[Test Case]:

The shader is as following:

######### VS ############
layout(location = 0) in vec4 g_position;
layout(location = 1) in vec4 g_color;
out StageData {
vec4 color;
} g_vs_out;
void main() {
gl_Position = g_position;
g_vs_out.color = g_color;
}

########### FS #############
in StageData {
vec4 color;
} g_fs_in;
layout(location = 0) out vec4 g_color;
void main() {
g_color = g_fs_in.color;
}
